Immerse yourself in the tranquility of the countryside and recharge in the private wellness area with a sauna, wood-fired hot tub, and natural swimming pond. Welcome to the wellness lodge in the garden of Het Nieuwe Klooster & Alpaca Hoogstraten.

You’ll stay in a charming, detached cottage that blends seamlessly into the natural surroundings, with views of the garden, the swimming pond, the forest, and—every now and then—a curious alpaca. Perfect for anyone who loves a peaceful setting with wellness facilities, right in the heart of nature.

YOUR STAY The lodge consists of 4 separate rooms, all accessible from the outside. This means there’s no internal connection between the rooms, so you’ll step outside each time you move between them. A beautiful balance between nature and comfort.

Sauna with shower and sink (ground floor) A wonderful place to relax and unwind. After your sauna session, you can step right into the shower in the same room. Fully finished in wood.

Bar, kitchenette, and dining area (ground floor) Behind the blue sliding doors, you’ll find a covered, dry, and sheltered outdoor area with a bar, sink, two-burner cooktop, refrigerator, and a table with two benches. A wood-burning stove is available. Please ask for a list of the kitchen utensils provided.

Restroom (ground floor) The restroom is located in a separate room near the terrace, the outdoor staircase, and the hot tub.

Bedroom (first floor, via outdoor staircase) Here you can sleep in complete peace and comfort. The room is furnished with one double bed and four single beds. Ideal for couples, families, or groups of friends. The two convection heaters bring the bedroom to a comfortable temperature in about an hour.

Hot Tub, Garden, and Terrace From the terrace, you can look out over the large, green garden with a swimming pond. Heat the wood-fired hot tub yourself to your ideal temperature and enjoy it any time of year.

Alpaca meet & greet or alpaca tour at Alpaca Hoogstraten for the full alpaca experience. Get to know the animals up close and personal by booking an activity during your stay. Without an activity, you won’t be able to enter the animal pastures or interact with the animals yourself.

HOUSE RULES To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone and keep the grounds enjoyable:

• No pets allowed.

• The gates keep our animals safe. Therefore: always close them immediately.

• Feeding the animals is prohibited. Do not leave cigarette butts or trash on the ground. Better safe than sorry.

• Do not enter the sauna/shower area or the bedroom with shoes, slippers, or dirty feet. Cherish this magical stay and only enter with clean feet or socks.

• Bring your own toiletries.

• You can pay for drinks from the minibar using the Payconiq sticker or by leaving cash.

• Please take good care of the accommodation so that you and our other guests can continue to enjoy it for a long time to come.
